Aussie singing sensation Kylie Minogue is reported to be dating a mystery man. Kylie is in London these days for an exhibition to showcase her changing costumes at the Victoria and Albert museum. After her relationship with French actor Olivier Martinez ended, her fans felt sorry for her, and were keen for Kylie to look for someone steadier. The news that the singer was seen with an unknown man at J Sheekey restaurant has sent a fresh wave of enthusiasm among her fans. According to the report of a tabloid, the two dined together, but arrived and left separately.

Earlier, Kylie had been with Olivier together for about three years before they separated a couple of months ago. The next few weeks will see the Aussie singer deluged in hectic activity as she prepares to launch the summer collection of a European fashion brand Loves Kylie. She is the new face of the costumes and kaftans of the brand.

Kylie is trying to keep herself busy to shake off the emotional pain she has had to endure due to the breakup. The earlier she finds new love for her, the better it is, according to her diehard fans.

Britney Spears and estranged husband Kevin Federline finally reached settlement in their divorce. Crooner Kevin will be richer by $1 million, considered a small amount by celebrity standards. The amount is considered peanuts since Britney Spears’ estate is estimated to be valued between $50 million and $100 million.

The agreement came after a five hour long meeting in Los Angeles on Thursday in the presence of their attorneys. According to the spokesman for Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, both Spears and Federline signed a global settlement on all issues of their marriage. The mutual settlement was reached on the basis of the estranged couple’s prenuptial agreement signed before their marriage in September 2004.

Earlier, Spears had been in and out of a luxurious rehab center for her alcohol problem. Her stay at the Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility was quite eventful, where the estranged couple had temporarily agreed to joint custody of their two young children.

According to the agreement reached now, the custody of the two children Sean Preston (18 months) and Jayden James (6 months) is believed to remain with Spears with Federline gaining visitation rights.

Spears had filed for divorce on Nov 7 last year citing irreconcilable difference as the reason, She had sought custody of her sons, and visitation rights for Federline. Kevin filed court papers the next day seeking custody of the children and spousal support.

The agreement is pending approval by a judge.

Jemima Khan sure has a penchant for famous cricketers. Having married the flashy ex-Pakistan cricketer and captain, Imran Khan, and divorcing him, Jemima has lately been spotted with the just retired Aussie cricketing great and legendary leg-spinner, Shane Warne. 

After splitting with actor Hugh Grant a month ago, the pretty lady did not lose much time, having been seen with a handsome man at a London restaurant. Now, comes the news that the heiress spent a night out with cricketing legend Shane Warne at London’s fashionable Cuckoo Club partying into the wee hours of the morning.

Warne, known for his colorful love life, has been estranged with his wife, and has been expressing his willingness to come back to her. But, this surely doesn’t seem the case. Jemima’s brother Zac Goldsmith introduced the couple at a party he hosted last year.

Jemima was reported to arrive with Shane and other friends in high spirits with the heiress apparently keen on letting her hair down. Although she is having a blast, reconciliation between her and Hugh Grant cannot be ruled out at present. Hugh is reported to be missing Jemima and having spoken to her. He is still in love with her. Jemima had served an ultimatum for Hugh to be committal or leave. In the face of Hugh’s indecisiveness, Jemima moved on. The actor is aware of his shortcomings, being short-tempered and also short of being the perfect boyfriend. That actually led to their split.

Australian pop star, Kylie Minogue, is busy with life after splitting with longtime boyfriend and French actor Olivier Martinez. Mending a broken heart does take time, and the 38-year old Kylie sure is finding it tough dealing with the situation. The current emotional void in her life is something she is not accustomed to after being together with the actor boyfriend for four years. She has shifted from the couple’s Paris home bag and baggage, and made London her new home, where she already has a place to live. According to a source, “Kylie is tying loose ends, ready to make a fresh start. Getting her belongings back brings a bit of closure.”

The relationship took a turn for the worse in January this year, when Martinez was seen dating a number of glamour girls in Kylie’s absence. The pop star was on a tour of the UK, when her beau was sighted with Israeli model Sarai Givati at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont. Later, he was seen escorting actress Michelle Rodriguez, and then was caught in a passionate clinch with Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz. Cruz, however, maintained that she had been lending her shoulder for Martinez to cry on after the heart-wrenching split.

Britney’s Ex, Timberlake, Prepared to Help Her 

Timbaland is roping in Britney Spear’s ex, Justin Timberlake, to help her get out of the current mess that she finds herself in. Timbaland, the man behind Timberlake’s and Nelly Furtado’s success is keen on putting Spears back on top of her career. Timbaland says that he invited his best friend Timberlake to help him help Spears. According to Timbaland, he asked Justin how he would feel about him working with Britney, and would he do it with him. Timbaland got an answer in the affirmative from Timberlake.

Spears has been in and out of the Promises Malibu drug and alcohol rehabilitation in California. Her behavior has bordered on the bizarre, having twice left the rehab center, shaving her head off and visiting clubs with her friends.

Timbaland says that he wants to hold her hand and keep her in his camp near Justin Timberlake; and would like him to help Britney.

Elizabeth Hurley married Indian businessman Arun Nayar a day earlier than scheduled on Friday in a private civil ceremony at the 15th century Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe. Hurley’s ex, Hugh Grant, is expected to attend the blessing party to be held on Saturday along with Elton John and Kate Moss. However, Hugh Grant will not be part of the invitees’ list for the newly wed’s celebrations scheduled later for Mumbai and Rajasthan. Hurley is keen on an Indian wedding and is expected to fly with hubby Nayar to India next week.

Security for the event was unusually tight with security guards patrolling the castle grounds.

Though divorced, Hurley and Grant continue to share a friendly relationship. The newly weds are reported to have given exclusive rights to the images of their celebrations to Hello! magazine for a handsome amount.

Brinkley’s penchant for marriages and divorces may not have been lost on you. The former super model was cross when she suspected Cook’s 19-year-old assistant to be involved with him in a serious affair. This led to the break-up between the husband and wife.

The issue currently bothering them is related to their kids, 11 year old Jack and 7 year old Sailor. The bitterness of the issue prompted the Central Islip Supreme Court Justice Joseph Pastoressa to issue an advisory to the warring couple to keep their children out of it. The advisory said: “Be civil. Don’t use your children as messengers between you. A custody trial would be devastating for the children and devastating for the parents. It should be avoided at all costs.” 

Divorce does have an everlasting impact on the child’s psyche. Kids may not be able to express their feelings, but the bitterness of the situation is not lost on them. The feeling of being insecure and the need for love of both parents can be devastating for the child. Parents have got to handle such situations with a lot of maturity and sensitivity keeping in mind the children’s interests.

Hugh Grant seems to be going through a rough patch where relations are concerned. After being ignored by Elizabeth Hurley and kept off from her coming Indian wedding plans, the “Music and Lyrics” star Grant is having a tough time with current flame Jemima Khan.

Grant’s roving eye is what has set him in the eye of a raging storm. According to Mirror, Grant had reportedly confided in the ladies: “I can’t kiss too many more women tonight as I’ve already had a row with Jemima”. Knowing Grant well, Jemima had already invited a few of her school friends at the party and seemed busy with them.

A week earlier, a Hugh and Jemima date had ended in a fiasco with Jemima charging Grant of being indecisive, and Hugh telling her that she was like a dictator. With the way things are going, it only sounds appropriate when Grant says there are no plans of them getting married.

What has come as a surprise is the news that veterans Roy E. Disney and estranged wife Patricia Disney have filed for divorce after 52 years of marriage. Roy Disney, nephew of Walt Disney, has cited the clichéd reason “irreconcilable differences” as grounds for the divorce. Roy is 77 while Patricia is 72 years old. According to a spokesperson, “This has been in the works for a long time. They’ve just decided to move forward with their lives.”

Roy is estimated to be worth $1.2 billion and he holds a majority shareholding in Disneyland. Modern times have not only seen a plethora of young divorces, but also couples having celebrated a majority of their lives together seeking separate lives. Divorces occurring in later-lives are getting commoner and commoner. Older couples are getting increasingly independent both emotionally and financially. As they remain physically active for longer years, they have independent ambitions. They prefer to split, if they find their ambitions being curtailed in any way by their spouse.

Roy and Patricia, who have four adult children from their marriage, were living separately for some time. It is not sure whether they had any prenuptial agreement.

Coley Lafloon, Anne Heche’s estranged husband, has filed for divorce from his wife on the grounds of “irreconcilable differences”. Their break-up had been cornering a lot of publicity prior to Lafloon’s legal step at seeking divorce. The 33-year old cameraman, Coley Lafloon, has asked the court for spousal support and joint custody of their son, Homer (5).

Heche’s representative confirmed the report of their split to People magazine, saying that the five year old marriage had come to an end. The rep has been quoted as “(They) have decided to separate after five years of marriage. “ According to the rep, the couple wanted to avoid becoming a target of the press because of their 5-year old son. They sought some privacy in the matter.

Rumors linking Anne Heche with her “Men in Trees” co-star, James Tupper, have been flying thick and fast, and this is what is believed to sour the married couple’s relationship. Tupper had split from his wife a few months ago. However, neither Heche nor Tupper has confirmed to be in relationship.
