Lopez’s Ex-Husband Ready to Spill the Beans
Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa is all set to tell all about his ex-wife and their relationship. He has told the judge Victor H Peron that he intends telling all while fighting Jennifer’s effort to quash his memoir. Noa admitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court Judge of his regretting the agreement to a preliminary injunction issued on June 30 that prohibits him from “criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement to the plaintiff.” Jennifer Lopez, who had married the former waiter in 1997, sued Noa in April this year to refrain him from telling it all. She claimed that Noa had asked for $5 million in lieu.
Noa, who admits to having limited knowledge of English, maintains that he did not understand the repercussions of his lawyer’s action in agreeing to the arbitration with Lopez in October. According to a website, Noa has said: “I didn’t agree to it. My lawyer told me that was the right thing to do and I went along with it.” He also says that he came to know only on November 8 that his lawyer was not licensed to practice law. Noa has been granted time until January 17 next year to find a new attorney.
